A little birdie told me

** November 2015 Winner at Electic Ellapu! **

Hi everyone! I'm happy to share with you today a Really Reasonable Ribbon DT inspiration project, my first-ever joy fold card! You know how I love my fancy folds and this birthday card was no exception! I used the absolutely gorgeous Delicate Stitched Satin Old Gold ribbon from the November Ribbon Club Assortment - Silver & Gold Mix. OMG, this assortment is heavenly!

Here's a close-up of the uber awesome double-loop bow. I L.O.V.E. this and it's so easy to create with the Bow-it-All! You have to check out Bonnie's awesome bow tutorials on YouTube!

I used some coordinating Stampin' Up! cardstock and designer series paper along with an adorable new Stampin' Up! stamp set that I just love. This joy fold is fun and I've seen many versions with horizontal and vertical flaps. I wanted horizontal flaps on this one because of the stamps I used, and the flap on the left folds over on top of the flap on the right. I used a thin magnet closure on this one.

Here's a shot of the card opened up all the way to reveal the birthday sentiment with plenty of room to write a personalized message if desired.

Proud to enter this sweet birthday card into the following challenges:

Recipe:
  • Cardstock/Paper: Stampin' Up! Hello Honey cardstock (#133678), Stampin' Up! Soft Suede cardstock (#115318), Stampin' Up! English Garden DSP (#138440)
  • Stamps: Stampin' Up! Hello Love stamp set (#133928)
  • Ink: Stampin' Up! Hello Honey ink (#133643), Stampin' Up! Soft Suede ink (#126978), Spectrum Noir- GB1, GB4, OR1
  • Dies/Punches: Die-namics Stitched Rectangles die
  • Accessories: RRR Delicate Stitched Satin Old Gold, white flat-back pearls
